I can receive email but I cannot send it. The error message is "Unable to connect to the outgoing mail server (SMTP).". It worked fine several days ago and I don't remember changing any of the settings. Does the SMTP server require authentication?
 
Don't even go down this road......IMAP doesn't work right now. You need to set up a POP3 account(make it a dummy account) then do a send receive and then you will be able to send mail from your IMAP account.
 
You can't connect to the SMTP server.. hmm

Do this:
Start > Run
Type in: telnet mail.yourdomain.com 25

what do you see?
 
I'm pretty sure your ISP has blocked port 25. Contact them.. they should give you their own SMTP server from which you can relay through
