SMTP slow to respond on some mail servers - resolved

Some of our IP space for cluster1 servers is not able to perform rDNS lookups at the moment as their nameservers/domains are unreachable to properly answer the PTR records searches. We are aware that this may make some SMTP sessions slow/time out.

We will update when we know more on this later. This does not affect anything other than rDNS lookups of some IP space on cluster1.

Re: SMTP slow to respond on some mail servers due to rDNS down at ip provider

Now rdns lookups are working fine, issue resolved.

It seems this issue has come up again. We are checking it and will will give an update soon.

Re: SMTP slow to respond on some mail servers

The IP provider is again having problems with their DNS servers and working to bring them back online.
