Some reports of packetloss, but not within our network - now some in our network

I just wanted to post as we have seen a handful of tickets today about packetloss or slowness at times, we have monitoring and techs on it monitoring full time as normal. We are NOT having an internet network issue at this time but checking multiple sources we are seeing quite widespread 5%+ packetloss across providers and links today on 3rd party services like the Internet Health Report. It is sporadic, some times it will be clear and clean and the next 6-8 red blocks and high packetloss.

There seems to be a huge rash of DDOS attacks going on today, which we are fighting off now, we've been checking on servers and defenses. We have brought several new means in, and then as soon as blocked a new attack came back (actually a spin on an old one that happened prior to Windows 2008 virtual machines.
