SOMEBODY answer my ticket, PLEASE!

I put in a ticket about 21 hours ago, marked High priority. After 12 hours I sent an email to [email protected]. I have not received ANY response, except for the autoresponder to the helpline saying my complaint was received.

So, maybe if I put it out here in public, some one will answer my ticket, which is #45660.

As a reseller, I would expect some consideration when posting problems with my customers accounts, as I have to wait for answers from you before I can answer them. And I have never been ignored like this before by Jodohost. So how about a little customer service, guys?

Here is the text from my ticket:

A new client has chosen one of my hosting plans, and wants to develop their site before transferring their domain name from their current host. So they chose the option to use the instant access domain alias. Diectory indexes have been turned on, and they have their index page uploaded, but all they get is an "Under Construction" page when they try to go to their domain alias.

Is there some setting I have to make to get this to work?

The domain alias assigned to their account is http://grandpa.g42.gochuhost.com/

What are they trying to do? Have a different default page from default.htm/default.asp? Because that's what Directory Indexes are about. I've never had problems with them..

If you want it to produce a file listing, go to the hosting options for that domain and set Indexes under Settings to Enabled.

They are using index.cfm as a default, and it is set in Directory Indexes. The little default login that HSphere creates doesn't even show up, and it is index.html (also in Directory Indexes). They have "Indexes" enabled. But the domain alias doesn't work, it just goes to the Under Construction page.

I finally got Yogendra in Live Support and they are looking in to it. This is the first time someone has wanted to set up an acount with me and not transfer a domain name at the same time, so I don't deny the possibility that there is something I need to do in the host package set up. I just want someone to let me know what that may be.

HI,

Both of your tickets (45738 And 45739)are in progress as there are some settings left in your reseller control panel and we are working to complete those settings.

Usually complicated issues take longer to solve, however I am looking into why it took so long and why your helpline email wasn't answered
