SQL Server 2000 / HSPHERE Problem

Hi,

one of my customer is trying to create SQL Server 2000 DBs using HSPEHERE. However, each time he tries to do so, the "login Creation" page is shown. If the person tries to create a login, the message: "Internal Error, Tech Support Was Notified" appears.

Also, for some reason, in "Web options" the activation of SQL Enterprise Manager does not appear. That feature is enabled in his plan. Also, he has 5 free SQL DBs available, and he has used none. His account is on Win5

Finally, where I can see in which SQL Server his database will be created? I currently have two aliases: mssql1.mydomain.com and mssql2.mydomain.com

Thanks

Hi..
Thank you for highlight this issue because my customer facing the same problem but the different he's can create database but the problem MSSQL Manager not appear at "Web Option". In fact he's account included 5 Free MSSQL Database as your packages.

But for other customer subscribe a different packages [bigger then above packages] not facing this type of problem.

What actually the problem here? Maybe someone here can give a comment about it.

I hope this can get solved quickly. My customer lost three access databases due to the Win5 outage. I told him that he had better use his SQL Server databases which are more reliable and are separated from the web server. He told me that he will test them on Monday.

I am imagining what he is going to tell me if he sees that SQL error: "Nothing is reliable with your service" or something similar :( Please try (hard) to fix this before Monday

Thanks

Yes Inka, this isn't any major issue and it should be solved within the next several hours.

These things happen occasionally. It's happened 3 or 4 times in the last 12 months for us.

The EM option does not appear on the Web Service page until you enable ASPNET. And it won't work if you're using IE with the latest security patches.

Hi..
Thanks for feedback but in this case all ASP button activated... :))

I opened a ticket and they solved the enterprise manager enabling option. As far as I remember ASP.NET was not enabled, but I do not know if other switches were necessary

I am still facing the problem with the creation of Logins and Databases. I have reported this and they are working on the issue.

Maybe you can open a ticket too
