Top level Domains

OK...Basic questions here...

I've set up a third level domain and added a Top Level Domain. I'm using the 3rd level to test the site, but cannot get into the TLD through HSPHERE. I realise that I've not pointed the tld that was registered with another company, to the tld folder of the site, but I would have thought that I could get into it at least.

Also, the 3rd level was given NS1 and NS2, the tld has been given ns3 and ns4...If I delete the third level, will the tld change to ns1 and 2?

If I change the nameservers with my domain registrar, will the tld space start working?

I think I'm right in sayng that the TLD won't be available until you change the name servers through your domain registrar. You should however be able to access it through it's instant domain alias. You can find the link by going in to 'Web Options' in H-SPHERE and clicking the edit icon by the domain name that you wish to view. At the bottom of the subsequent page you should have a link to the websites instant domain alias which will let you view the site without changing nameservers.

Hope that's what you were asking?

I've tried to do that (clicking the magnifying glass next to the domain) but it just brings up a page not found.

Are you clicking the magnifying glass next to the instant alias listing? It should go to some ugly url like d12345678.s23.servicedomain.com.

Don't click the magnifying glass next to the domain name. From web options click the edit icon next to the domain and at the bottom of the subsequent page will be the instant domain alias, either click the magnifying glass icon next to that or copy the domain name to a new browser window.
