Trying to assign dedicated IP address

I created a support ticket over 10 hours ago and still can not assign a dedicated IP address to a domain. My ticket was updated with "We are working on it, and we will update you soon". That was 10 hours ago.

Any chance of getting this resolved soon?

IP assignments take 24 to 48 hours or less normally.
 
Why does it take 24 to 48 hours to give a reseller the ability to assign a dedicated IP to a domain? I am not talking about DNS propagation of the new IP. I mean just the ability to assigned the dedicated Ip through the control panel.

when a server runs out of IPs wehave to add more, we only add in small batches to prevent abuse of IP space. We have to ensure all usage is ARIN justified so we only assign 2-3 IPs at a time now.
