Upgrading a user to MySQL 4.1.2 or better

Hi,

I have a user that would like to run WordPress 3.0.1, but he can't because of the MySQL version. He's on mysql6. Is there any way for this user to use the new version?
 
The easiest way to handling this is, you can do a signup for a new end user account under your reseller account and create database there, that new account will automatically get MySQL database version 5.0 .Then you can use new database for your existing user website instead of old database which is having MySQL version 4.0.27.
