Hello
I'm moving a web site to JodoHost. The DNS is at GoDaddy. They use GoDaddy's email service and would prefer that email stays at GoDaddy. I think this means that the DNS needs to stay at GoDaddy since they only do email for "their" domains.
It seems like I can make this work by creating the domain at JodoHost, turning off email service and not delegating the domain to JodoHost's name servers. Over at GoDaddy we'll set the A record to the web server IP number at JodoHost.
I think we should also create MX records on the normally unused DNS at JodoHost pointing back to GoDaddy just in case a process or user at JodoHost wants to send them email and somehow they end up using the DNS at JodoHost instead of at GoDaddy.
Will that work? Have I missed anything?
Thanks
