WIN vs. LINUX - to JodoHost admins!

Hi 2 all admins,
updating our website and currently looking for a new host.
Previus site was on php+LINUX hosting, now it's ASP+MSSQL and therefore requires Win platform.
I'm considering JodoHost Windows hosting plans, but my boss (who pays the money, obviously) is sceptic about WIN-hosting in general.
Can you share some statistics with me regarding the security issues and overall stability of WIN servers in comparison to LINUX? As well, can you send me a link describing hardware used for WIN JodoHost servers?

At JodoHost Linux and Windows, both are quite stable enviornments.

We have a dedicated System Admin who looks after security related issues of both ie Linux and Windows Servers. Prior to joining us he worked 4 years in a Cyber Security company.

We have more Windows server than Linux. Both servers are currently showing 99.5-99.9% Uptime.
