We are starting with SSL enabled dedicated IP sites, they are being moved to new hardware. After testing that the shared IP will be moved.

Re: WinCF2 transfer to new hardware ongoing

The move of IPs is done to new hardware, and sites are now running from the new server.

CF was upgraded form 6.1 to 7 with the change, and DSNs were recreated but there could potentially be some limited number of DSNs needing modifications or creation, if you need this please submit a ticket with all details.

The server is going to have a quick reboot here in the next 15 minutes just to start anew after the migration.

Re: WinCF2 transfer to new hardware ongoing

There is an issue with the Hsphere service we are diagnosing now.

Re: WinCF2 transfer to new hardware ongoing

There is still an issue with the Hsphere service, it is a very odd error we have an urgent ticket in for the matter. It got past everything complex and then oddly it stopped (we did not notice it till later when needing it), shared SSL sites will not have working shared SSL for at least a couple of hours (until this is resolved)

Re: WinCF2 transfer to new hardware ongoing

There is currently some work being done on WinCF2 and may result in IIS down/slow for a few moments.

Edit: work has been done, but Hsphere issue is not yet resolved.

Re: WinCF2 transfer to new hardware ongoing

Parallels did finally take a look at this within the last 12 hours, however they needed to call in additional help.

Re: WinCF2 transfer to new hardware ongoing

After some rather meaningless replies over the weekend I now get this:

For profound code-level investigation of what is causing the issue we need to address our development team. Unfortunately, they will only be available tomorrow due to the national holiday here in Russia.

This was given to us today. I now see they were just trying to drag us out with things like 'ports closed' (which is the case when the app supposed to be running on that port isn't running because it wont....hpshere), and windows components for a different version of windows that are not installed.

Re: WinCF2 transfer to new hardware ongoing

We have Hsphere up and running thanks to some former psoft (before parallels owned them) employees. The resolution ended up being rather simple but the error gave no indication of the issue, in essence their was a line in the config that made parse of the config die.

SharedSSL was corrected moments after this post
