New WinVPS Add-on Services Available
Starting Tuesday September 4th we will be offering new optional features available to all WinVPS clients.
1. New Management Tickets and Management Ticket Plans
2. FTP and FTPS access to existing local VPS backups
3. FTP/FTPS space available from 2-20GB, primarily for off-server node backup purpose
The first new option is for management tasks within your VPS. Previously managed services have not been available, or were quoted by sales on a per task basis, we will now charge one flat rate for most tasks.
A management ticket can be submitted from your control panel support links by selecting the Management Ticket queue, or by sending an email to managevps (@) jodovps.com and you will get a confirmation upon submission from the ticket system. A management ticket is $3 and ideal for many needs of one time assistance or the occasional management task. We also have a 5 ticket bundle available for $12 per month prepaid at 1st of each month, and a 10 ticket bundle for $20 per month pre-paid at the 1st of each month. Management tickets include any time that a login is needed to your VPS that is unrelated to a recurring Plesk error or bug. A management ticket may for example include:
DLL Installation/registration
Software installation up to 15 minutes in length(beyond 15 minutes will need a custom quote)
Permissions assistance
One domain file move/transfer, not including SQL databases/email accounts, SQL database moves from BAK/SQL files are free.
Select other services upon request
If there is additional management required that is not listed or available it will be confirmed via the management ticket system at the time of service. This is not a replacement for the current ticket system or charging for advice and help given from the system and support (@) jodovps.com.
Pricing overview for Management Tickets:
$3 per ticket task billed upon completion
$12 per 5 pack pre-paid
$20 per 10 pack pre-paid
If you wish to use this new service simply submit a ticket to the Management Ticket desk, and it will be billed at $3 per ticket, and if you wish to use a pre-paid plan you may inform us on this ticket and we will process this as a monthly service add-on until you give notice that you wish to discontinue the management service.
The second new addon available is raw access to the backups made within your VZ Power Panel. With this addon for $2/per month you will be able to access your VPS Virtuozzo snapshots and download the backups for safekeeping on your own PC. The access is read only, and you can keep the first full image and all incremental images as you may desire. In addition to this we will being on the 4th offering FTP/FTPS off server backup space for all VPS customers if they wish to store plesk backups, database backups, website backups etc on an off VPS space that is accessible from remote or the VPS locally. These will include the same Virtuozzo raw backup access as the $2 per month option but include a FlexibleQuota of FTP storage space as well. Price list is as follows:

A FlexibleQuota means that the hard limit on your quota is actually 50% higher than the level you have purchased allowing you to use a higher level than the purchased limit for up to 72 hours time without any penalty or overages. These FTP storage options are not designed for general public access and are limited to 1 remote IP address and 3 simultaneous connections at a time to prevent abuses.
The FTP space may be used by the built-in Plesk Backup tool to keep off server backups of your domain, mail, control panel settings and other user information. It may also be used by 3rd party scripts to maintain a synced backup and point in time backups from your VPS to the FTP space for data recovery needs should they arrive for you or your hosting clients.
To sign up for the FTP/FTPS backup service please submit a ticket to support (@) jodovps.com with your desired level of service from 0 to 20GB and we will setup service within 24 hours and reply with your FTP Service connection IP, username and password. Recurring overages beyond the 72 hour bursts will be $1.50/month per GB
