WinVPS DNS Setup

Hi,

Im rather confused with the setting up my servers DNS. ?(

All my domains currently sit with the domain registrar, onlinenic.com. I would like to point them to my domains setup on my VPS.

My main domain on the VPS is called exp33.com

My client domains will be mypozzy.com and adbase33.com for now.

Do I setup my DNS server to be:

ns1.exp33.com 64.187.111.230
ns2.exp33.com 64.187.111.233

Then when I setup mypozzy.com, will its DNS look like this?
ns1.exp33.com 64.187.111.230
ns2.exp33.com 64.187.111.233

Please can anyone give some feedback on this

Hello Rich,

You may need to follow the manual here to make DNS templates that will work with that:
Plesk 7.6 For Windows Administrator Guide (Revision 2.3)

Expand out the section "Configuring and Maintaining Your Server" then go to the DNS topics to see how to change the template.

The way plesk is setup by default will actually create nameservers for every domain to be ns1/ns2.domain.com
