Hello,

We will be preparing WinVPS4 for transfer to a new hardware base starting at 3am EST Saturday Feb 10th, EST. This process will involve a reboot.

This is 3 hours from now.

the actual move of VPSes will happen over the weekend starting Saturday, Feb 10th at 8pm EST. Each VPS on the server will face a 5-15 minute outage for the reboot, and a 5-15 minute outage for the migration to new hardware.
We have been testing the new hardware over the past hours and will continue testing it up until 6pm EST Saturday. All your VPS files, settings, and other configurations will remain 100% intact, the Virtuozzo System handles the migration fully and moves the whole system state from one server to another.

There have been random RAM errors over the past week, and we are moving hardware in order to resolve these issues.

The new hardware is as follows:
Dual AMD Opteron 270 Processors
147GBx4 RAID Array
8GB DDR REG ECC RAM
Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition R2 32-bit

VPSes all up. Reboot portion of maintenance complete, we will resume with migration tonight.

The VPS server migration has been deffered due to some technical reasons. It will now start between 10:00 PM - 12:00 AM midnight.

The VPSes are one by one migrating to the new hardware. The process is going within the 5-15 minutes period announced for all I have moved to this point.

We are still working on moving each VPS, we had one that was down for a bit longer with a network issue after the move, but it is resolved now.

We will not be migrating any further, we are getting errors once putting live VPSes on the new server, even after many hours of extensive stress testing and burn-in time.
