Follow-up on my dilemma. This is a copy from the mojoPortal developer:
So it looks like the issue was with the release of mojo and I happen to fall into the crack. It happens that the "Medium Trust" version of mojo is still being developed and I just happened to help it along some. :) I...
Well, If you don't mind I will be calling on you some more because I am also trying to get a DNN site up and running and not having much luck with it either...
That was done before I even tried mojo, back when I tried to get DNN to work and that didn't work out too well either... I'm not sure what my problem with asp is. :P ?(
My issue has been in the ticket system already (Ticket #AFS-32810-385) but it started with the db connection issue and is now into the previously mentioned problems.
OK, I got the medium security/db connect issue resolved, but I still have this issue. I have included my error, as well as the post from mojoPortal developer, Joe, input:
Any input? Has anyone else gotten Mojo to work on Jodo?
Here is my page while trying to install a mojoPortal site:
It looks like my connection string in the web.config is not written correctly, but I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Ticket system here at Jodo simply replied with a link to www.connectionstrings.com but no help as to which of...
Is it possible to host a mojoPortal website with Jodo? Do I need to do anything different with mojo than I would setting up a DNN site? (Requesting dbo permissions)
Do you have an example of the differences I can forward to the coder? I believe they are using the Visual Studio 2008 Express software (not sure though)
I gave up manually configuring the web.config and am trying to go through the wizard, I can get to the point where it wants to run database scripts and I have gotten mixed errors: mentioned above as well as Timeouts, etc.
This is frustrating.
I made sure 2.0 was set for the subdomain, and I have moved past the first error, now I am on to db script installation errors... grrr, I remember when my php cms sites were giving me this trouble before I understood them too.
OK, if I just Refresh the page, I move on to the next step:
Configure Database Connection
Select Database:
I selected->SQL Server 2000/2005 Database
Server: Enter the Name or IP Address of the computer where the Database is located. I entered the IP of the MSSQL server(64.71.228.8)...
I am now getting the following error while trying to run the wizard install:
I have already checked via FTP that the directories in question all have 777 access. I'm not sure why I am getting this error.
