I just signed up for an account and I want to know from other members how long have these problems been going on?
Less that 1 month?
More than 1 month?
More that 2 months?
More than 6 months?

I have been reading all the frustration but I have not been able to guage if these are long term reoccuring problems.
Thanks.

Define 'these problems'?
I've seen a number of issues in my time at JodoHost, but so far they've been isolated incidents, not reoccurrences of the same problem.

There have been some rough times recently, but I wouldn't say there are indications that they're likely to continue.

This is the first downtime occurrence that's affected me as a reseller, primarily using Win6, since I signed up a few months ago.

It's up to you on whether or not you feel becoming a Jodohost customer has more positive results than negative.

Edit: To give you some advice: Look around at the other hosts out there and make the judgement for yourself. That's what I did, I chose Jodohost and I'm still here.

I think Yash is pretty right when he says this forum gives an unnecessarily negative opinion of Jodo

I have not been affected by any of the Win5 issues either. They had a hardware crash there I believe followed by some sort of corruption. Important thing is Win5 is working properly too and they have taken steps to ensure a repeat doesnt happen/

Win6 is the server im currently on. This is the first time I've had a web outage in 1 or 2 months... It lasted for about 40 minutes (intermittent, not continuous) and all you had to do is come here and browse the forum to know whats happening... I'm just waiting for FTP to be resumed now..

I have only been here a month. When the service is running right it has been leaps ahead of others I have used. It has been fast. The problem is that there have been an unusually high amount of problems in this month, not all of them have directly affected me but some have.

This may just be an exceptionally bad month here at Jodo but it is all I have to look at. Don't make a decision based on any single report. Personally if I had to do it over I would not. But maybe it is just that bad luck follows me around. It might be worse at the next host than here.

Right now I am here and hope that jodo will make it right with me.

Well WebDeveloper, this is what I am trying to guage. If there are persistant problems.

Like I said, I've experienced very minimal problems up to this point, but never have I thought about moving to another host.

It seems that Jodohost is like any startup company; they are going through a maturation process that will eventually result in a stable hosting environment with a consistent level of service. When will Jodohost become a mature, stable hosting company? Who knows, maybe in a year, maybe never. Growth, especially a rapid amount, affects company stability.

It's a judgement call you need to make after evaluating all your other options.

We've been in business since December, 2002.. over a year.

This discussion went terrible off-topic. I deleted all the posts beyond this point.
