Problems login Control Panel

Since the new Control Panel is installed. I couldn't login in my account.
I reported it already 5 days ago and still no sollution!

From where are you logging in? Are you unable to reach the control panel or are getting authorization errors?
 
Oh, this is an issue with the cp database encording format.

I'm sorry this has been taking so long. This problem has been affecting few accounts. We will be conversting the database format most definately today and you'll be able to access your control panel then

The reason we are going slow with this is that if we corrupt the control panel database or some unforseen problem happens, it would be a catastrophe for us

then all registered users and data will disappear right? and you will have to re-register everybody?
let's just hope that doesn't happen.. I hope you have backups of the database?
