FrontPage Forms..

Do you guys have to fix all the FrontPage forms now? It appears the one's I've checked aren't working, they are getting a FrontPage error. Can you just tell us how to fix this ourselves? I've tried uninstalling the extensions and fixing them but it appears it doesn't work.

What's going on with the FrontPage forms? Am I the only one having this problem? I've had three clients call and email now stating their forms aren't working and I opened a ticket. Someone responded to the ticket and said it was working fine now but it's not. Ranjan just responded to the ticket and said I have to put the username and password in the html???

There was no change in frontpage or frontpage extensions. We don't have any other customer complaining of such issues but we are investigating it

I believe there is a much deeper issue on at least one of your customer sites with FP extensions. I will be emailing you about this.

I'm beginning to agree with you. Most of my clients aren't real webmasters but it's easy to use for them. I gotta admit, I use the FrontPage forms too, haven't had any problems with them till lately. What do you reccomend I use from now on?

The industry standard - Dreamweaver. It's more expensive but definately worth it. Apart from the functionality, the main reason I chose it is because it generates the cleanest coding I've ever seen from a editor. As someone who hard codes a lot, I really appreciate this.

I got Dreamweaver MX., not really fond of it. I like to code in just regular notepad. I think I might try a couple forms in Dreamweaver here to see if they are a little more stable on the servers. The only macromedia product I really like is Fireworks, that program rocks! Oh and Flash of course but I don't like using flash that much cause of the SEO restrictions.

The frontpage forms should be working properly now. Except possibly that one domain I sent you in email.
