phpbb2 - cant see themes ?

Hi,

I have just recently run the phpbb2 setup to add a forum to a site. I have a custom template that i wanted to add to the forum, but according to the userguide of phpbb there should be a list of available themes in the styles section under "add".

There are no templates listed there, not even subsilver.

I have uploaded the templates and the file structure is the same as subsilver.

How can i fix this ?

Thanks,

Jason

Was hoping someone would have some ideas. It's not like i have modified the phpbb install or anything.

No thoughts at all ?

Thanks,

J

Is the theme there when you view your profile? Each user should be able to select a theme from within their profile. You set a default one in the admin configuration screen. To "install" new themes, I've never needed to do more than upload them to the themes directory (well, except for the ones that have needed the eXtreme Styles Mod). At least that's how it works for me.

Couple of questions to try and help you out:

Is this a style or something you've customised yourself?

If a style:

When you uploaded the style (template) - did you load it into it's own folder under /forums/templates?

Is the folder the correct name (case-sensitive)?

If a template:

Did you follow the export the template before you changed it?

Cheers...Scott.
