Changing account for Trial to Value

Well - I've done my tests and I am moving my PHP development from WebHost4Life to Jodohost. Sending email from my php code worked on Jodohost and not on WebHost4life. If I worked at it, I quess I could have gotten it to work, but why should I have to make is work when it's easy at Jodohost. Plus, the servers at Jodohost seem faster.

Now I'm just wondering the steps to change my Trial Value account to Value Linux account.

In CP I changed billing to PayPal, did a Submit Query to Paypal, authorized the payment to Jodohost. I would think there would be a delay in recording this paymnet at Jodohost.

Now I need the next steps.

How do I let jodohost know my domain name? When should I do this?

When should I change my IP address to a static address?

Where do I get the DNS names or IP addresses to point my domain name to my jodohost site? After I have this information, when should I make the changes at my Registar?

I realize this is the holiday season and know many people are not working and are at home with their families, or just doing fun things. So, if there is a delay in a response, it's okay.

2) Just add your domain to the control panel
3) Everyone has a static IP by default
4) As soon as you add the domain to the CP, you'll be emailed instructions with the new DNS information for your domain. Visit your domain registrar immediately after that and update your domain. You can also view the DNS information by clicking on your domain in the CP

I tried doing step 2, but failed. Looks like I need to wait until Jodohost processes the PayPal payment. Is this usually 12 hours or could it be longer due to the holidays?

Does item 3 become static when the trial account gets a valid domain name? As now the CP shows "shared IP"

A shared IP is a static IP. If you are talking about a Dedicated IP, you can switch to one by clicking the "Change to Dedicated IP" link. But it must be within our IP Usage policy - http://support.jodohost.com/showthread.php?t=526
