Reg. problems in adding domain

When I try to add a new domain to my area, I am getting
"You are about to enable Domain.The recurrent fee for the rest of the billing period is $9.31.The recurrent fee for every subsequent billing period is $12.00.


INVOICE
RECURRENT Recurrent Domain (7/2/03 - 4/12/04) $9.31
TOTAL: $9.31

What is this fee and Why is it appearing? I need to add this domain and enable my site. How do I do that?

Each package comes with a limited number of domains. Adding a domain over the amount allowed would cost you $1/month extra. You chose a yearly pay term so those are your yearly charges for that domain

Unlimited domains.

Please re-check your homepage. www.jodohost.com/in. It still says unlimited domains.

Even the linked page also says unlimited domains. However, your international site agrees with your statement. Kindly reflect the same changes in your Indian site to avoid confusions.

But, when I bought this 100 MB package, there was no limitations on the domains. Due to the goodwill that I have with Jodohost, I don't want to dispute or argue over this issue. All I need is help from Yash or Atul, which I am always getting.

the regional site was pulled down a long time ago. The basic package you see at http://www.jodohost.com costs $6.99/mo and the features listed there are the features you get. The unlimited domain scheme was scraped somewhile ago and we had made an announcement. You are not affected by it till the start of your new billing term. So if you paid for an entire year, you will have unlimited domains for an entire year. Only when you create a new account or renew an existing account, the unlimited domain scheme would disappear.

I would just like to say that I have been with JodoHost for about 7 months now (even before this forum was opened up) and I really enjoyed the unlimited domain scheme for a while. However, I knew it was a little too good to be true for the price. I don't mind it has been withdrawn now because I know it is not practical for any host to provide unlimited domains. Paying a little more is OK with me. Enough advance notice was given anyway. I won't be paying for extra domains until August (when I have to renew)
