It seems that myself and many of my clients are seeing an intense increase in email spam. In the past I've set up non-standard email addresses that somehow receive spam even when they have never been used. I'm going to try a new one now to see what happens.

Maybe I'm crazy but is it possible that someone is spamming Jodohost customers from Jodohost servers or accessing email lists from HSphere or the mail server?

Any recommendations for reducing spam? Should I be looking at and recommending a piad service?

Spam is on the rise overall, I am seeing some filter through as well :(

We spend a long time tweaking things but then they get around it with some minor change.

I am even seeing spam via my google filters quite a bit now on one domain using google apps.

I get 2-3 spam a day, and just delete them. I figure it is a fact of life at this point.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the replies and sorry for the late reply...

Stephen, one of my clients and he is getting 50+ ******/sex spam emails a day. When you get this many spam emails and 100 other emails it becomes hard to manage and deleting them takes time. It just seems like a flood. I've tried the spam rules in Hsphere but it is a huge pain to do this for more than one email address. It would be great if Jodo had some other spam options to quarantine emails from the inbox. I've used similar services, like a quarantine, at other hosts and it eventually reduced the spam to almost nothing.

Mohit, I'll check out those options. Thanks for your suggestions!
