Weird error after moderation

When I signed up for the first time with API, I got this error on a plan:

Invoice total ($5.00) is larger then max amount

Now I don't recall setting a "max amount" anywhere. is there something I missed? The plan has never been used anywhere else except for my API tests so I wouldn't know what this is...thanks!

I'd recommend sending a ticket with the plan name for it to be reviewed, or if you are not in a huge hurry for it just PM it over to me and I will evaluate it over the next 24-36 hours. I have some other things that are more critical at the moment operationally, but would be glad to look into it personally when I get a few minutes.

BTW send me a PM with your username on the CP and I can add you to the customer only section of the site where we discuss some other things/ideas and make some announcements before other places :)

I've taken a look at it, and not seeing any reason for this, in fact the test plan you have it a no billing plan so it should not complain about $ at all.

I will get a few more details from you by PM and pass it along to unix side where maybe they can watch logs as signup/moderate is tried.

After a quick check, I'm under the impression the plan in question IS a billing plan, unless that's part of the problem, take another sniff at it?

Doh...My bad, i looked at the wrong plan! you have a couple with similar names. Looking again now.

Check your MySQL quota, it is showing as 2GB and the pricing overrides the limit for overages.

In addition you may want to simply do 'summary quota' that combines all mail, sql, and web into one grouped quota, don't have to but it is useful.

That was a problem too, but I figured out the root cause was the "signup guard" maximum amount. It was set at zero in my account, after setting to a higher limit (and making my merchant provider 2.9% of $5 richer in the process because I forgot to set back to test mode :D ) I now can create billable accounts

EDIT: Actually I got it before my payment gateway did, phew...
