Simple Static IP Request, 36 Hours and Counting

Perch
I requested a static IP for a domain over 36 hours ago, and still nothing except a reply asking for my patience.

This is very concerning.

Ticket #NUV-17019-597

thanks,

I am sorry, I took some time off in the last 36 hours :( I, and we both(Tanmaya and myselp) have been working almost non stop lately.

IP requests really go through Tanmaya or myself, we are both in now and on it, we'll have it resolved quickly. With the upcoming migrations, IP requests are being more limited as we have to pass everything through filters, ensuring we can have enough IP allocation to get more IPs from ARIN.

I'd expect getting IPs to be even a bit harder going forward especially in ipv4, as they are out of them totally.

We add IPs manually to the server to keep check on IP justification. We will add an IP and reply to your ticket in next 10-15 min.

Delay was on my part, as the ticket was assigned for me. Really sorry about this. Its done now.

Understood, thanks.

The big issue on my end is that we are trying to migrate that domain to Jodo as soon as the IP is setup, using 3rd party DNS. As it stands, our entire website is on hold at a different host awaiting the migration. The client isn't as understanding with technical issues.

I'm sure you guys are going wide open, and I do appreciate everything you do to help, but from a business standpoint, that still doesn't sit well with my clients. I'm sure you understand.

thanks,

Just as a note and warning at the same time, that IP will be changing as we move to the new setup, it will forward for a while, but it needs to be changed after live on new for best performance and response.

it isn't time to do that just yet, but just informing to keep that noted!
