DNS Nameserver IP Address Mismatch

All of my client sites are down as of this morning because the nameserver IP addresses seem to have changed. I'd say this is a pretty big problem.

Thanks-

Brent

All my reseller aliases are missing, including all mysql aliases, bringing a dozen sites down. Sites were working earlier and are now completely gone.

My nameserver aliases for ns1 and ns2 are not resolving at all, bringing many more sites down.

tracert says 'Unable to resolve target system name ns1.******.net'

All servers are up, the problem is that you did not update your nameserver IPs, we have sent THREE Mass mails about this.

id1.xxxxxx.net. ['204.14.104.222'] [TTL=172800]
id2.xxxxxx.net. ['204.14.105.185'] [TTL=172800]

These are old, we took redirection down as its about to be irreplaceable down at end of month.

You have a mass mail June 26th we sent a final notice.

Look in your email inbox for all the details of what needs to change.

Mine went to spam, too. :-(

Is it a good idea to change the nameservers for those domains I have control over to the m****here.biz nameservers? Could that resolve the sites quicker?

Never mind, I changed the nameserver IPs and the change was very quick... sites are back.

JH is in the spam whitelist for my contact address... I get the support tickets just fine, for one thing. For some reason, it just doesn't always work.

Now get some sleep :)

I don't use IP's, so I assumed I would be safe. Is that not the case? I can not get answers from live chat or phone so I am looking through these forums for help.

how do we change this if we can't get into our control panel?

I don't use the ip, and I thought I would be safe. At least that is what the ONE email i received yesterday said.

my clients are complaining they cannot get emails from mail3 and mail5. I checked and they are resolving to:
mail3 -> 173.0.129.8
mail5 -> 173.0.142.205

Can someone confirm that those are correct?

also one of the mysql servers is not responding for one of my clients sites but i dont know which it is since my CP is offline.

What is ETA to get things back online? I need to inform my clients.

Agree with Fervent..

Livechat is also useless.. been on there for 1.5 hours and i get one response every 20 minutes... its like pulling teeth.

Someone needs to give some straight answers for ETA's on time things will be resolved or i will start to lose clients.

access to cp here does nothing. we have dobe this sise. thia is 100‰ at registrar side

the june mailing had links to dns upsate helps here in forums

we cant do anything to resolve for you. you must update ip addresses for your nameservers ar your domain registrar

i dont know what more we can do than send so many emails people then just ignore. but they seem to do that anyway

No servers are down, only seems the problem with DNS. Please re-verify and ensure that your child/private name servers are pointing to correct(new) IPs.

That response made zero sense...

All my clients DNS servers point to Jodo's DNS servers so they are all correct. So why is email not working? Can you tell me if the above email server IP's are correct or not?

When i go to webmail its also giving me an error
i get IMAP Error in /var/www/webmail/program/include/rcube_imap.php (192): Login failed for ***@***.com from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx. Could not connect to mail.xyz.com:143: Connection refused

Please open a support ticket with this e-mail address, we will check and will update you through ticket.

Yes, above both IP's are correct of mail servers in Cluster-1.

Also, as per your mysql issue, please check if using the OLD IP for mysql server for connectivity to your website, then need to update with new IP in configuration.

so if the email servers are resolving to the new IP's then why dont they work? They have been using new IP's since the first email you sent. (months ago) and as of last night they have no more email.
