Ok techs updated me. You wanted a custom dns record, it was done but didn't work right, they put ticket on hold to check,.then you updated all records to point external which is being served to the internet as you put.
I am really a bit lost with the issue as they are fully different matters

I never got emailed either nor is any of my sites or emails working. Nor is tech support by phone or live chat WILLING to help.
The inability to get help on why every single server I use for customers are down in the middle of the week, if I need to do anything to help get those back up (DNS) is simply amazing to me. Neither a phone call or live support can seem to help.
I realize you have weather issues, but I got no emails telling me the time table was moved up, in the middle of the week, when emails and websites are used most. I understand that IP's are being changed, but does DNS need changed or are they fine? How long can I expect to be down so I can tell my customers.
Right now, I am held hostage as I can not access anything nor can I get a simple response. I just wanted to say thanks.
