Sites keep going down

Many of my sites keep going down until I put in a trouble ticket, after I do, none of my questions about why the site went down are answered, I get a reply of :

"Kindly check it now. It should be fine." and everything else I ask is ignored. I would like to know why my sites are going down and what is being done to fix it, I have been a customer for many years and this only started happening after the data center move.

I'm getting a lot of the last couple days, including the CP.

The following error was encountered:

We can not connect to the server you have requested.

This means that:

The server might be busy at this time.
The server is not reachable.

Please try later to see if you can go through.

Please update through PM or Provide us your ticket ID to investigate the issue. We'll check the issue and do the needful as soon as possible.

note note, CP server it totally different than web, we have been doing some quick maintenance tasks on the CP server that may involved a full restart of the web server portion. We don't normally post this as it is 30 seconds or less twice a day, not regular and not down for long at all. Some settings changes are being made that need a restart of services.

I realize that the CP is totally separate but with the intermittenance (sp) of the failed connections, its hard to get anything more from support other than "its working on our end"

Most recently I was seeing this on a new domain created (and mentioned it in a permissions ticket that was open anyway) and the same time, I was getting the connectivity drop on the CP while trying to add an FTP account or something.

Initial thought it was a hardware issue or something somewhere between the web-server and my location but it only seems to be happening when connecting to JH so that was making me curious.

I've been experiencing the same thing. Years of great and consistent service and then over the last couple of months things have been going a little 'oopy'.

It seems either the helpdesk staff have got less trained somehow or they are too busy trying to plug all the holes that are appearing [in jodohosts customers systems] as the feedback from them is often just 'try it now'. Well, thats just great - no idea why the problem occurred in the first place and no advice about how to avoid it in the future.

My feeling is that since the data-centre move things haven't been quite right.

Thats just my feeling though - if I could view how many tickets I had raised this year compared to other years Im sure it would be higher. Not that you can view that... Ok - so Im just getting naggy now....!

Just wish things were back to the good ol' days..

We are seeing WEB5 not responding as well. Customer very irritated as it has happened twice today and I see it happening as well.

We have found out some of what is causing this and working on a fix for it, it is a software issue.
