I'm having some serious connectivity problems regarding any jodhost sites or utilites just checking to see whether its my local machine or not. I'm not having problems anywhere else except for jodos network
the problem includes connecting to my vps via rdp, cp.jodoserver.com is also unusable from my local computer

Yep, I'm having almost no response from Resellerdesk, and all my client CPs, as well as reseller CP. :(

may be an issue between australia and the U.S then, any other aussies having the same problem

I think it might be a network issue.. the route from here to Texas is terrible at the moment.

Strangely enough, the forums are working fine. :)

Can you please check, what DNS is defined at your local work station.
Some time this can be a issue, please try to use Google public DNS i.e 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and if this help.

Might still be something funky at Jodo. My client sites are a bit slow, but not too bad.

The CPs however are completely unresponsive. I can hardly get a response from any CPs or resellerdesk. Why is that?

Changed to Google DNS but no improvement.

Things seem a bit better here but still chugging along a tad..
Antic What ISP are you using in Australia? I'm with internode

There does seem to be an issue regionally there, we exchanged some mails about it.

I was actually away having a bit of a christmas party with some friends for two hours when the mails came I was about to leave to come check it but got with techs that said all sites look good outside.

Adding it all up, I got emails fine, on my mobile phone via 3g well outside our network, and the emails came quickly as well, so in the end, the connections were ok and working, but somewhere some packets are being dropped along the way, and it looks to start pretty early from what I see there on traceroute now.
After all the issues this last week I was just on a bit of panic mode on seeing that, and I know some of you may have been as well!

Thanks Stephen. Things seem to be a lot better now.
