Anyone here at Jodohost getting 500,000 hits to 1 million hits per month

That's right, this is the reason why I like to use Access. The only thing that I hate in Access, it doesn't have stored procedures. Well, besides those one-sql-statement-long queries, of course, but you can't do anything with them. Also I'm not sure about the performance when Access's database...

    Mailing lists

Well, there is no info on how to customize automated e-mails. Probably it is not possible, so I just need to post a suggestion in the right place (HSPHERE forums?)

Hmm, this is kinda strange. So it is working now?

    IFrame problems

Nope actually. It doesn't require any special characters, I just replied you (to inbox) with the solution I think :)

    IFrame problems

Can you post a link to that page so we can see it live? :)

    Mailing lists

Atul Kumar raised a question if someone is using mailing lists in HSPHERE. Well, I'll looked and "played" a bit, looks like it is an interesting feature and sure I'm gonna use it. But here some questions. How can one customize the e-mails that the system sends? Not posted, but automated e-mails...

IP addresses being blocked by SORBS?

That's a good thing, but now comes a question, what happen if one of customers will do the spam? I don't care about the one who will do it, rather about IP - it will blocked again? I'm just curious how hosting companies deal with such problems, it should be raised over and over, not?

postmaster and webmaster @ domain accounts

What I did (if I remember right) is just one account (the "postmaster" one) and turned ON "catch all"

    ASP Mail component

I guess you should set the RemoteHost to your mail server (mail.yourdomain.com) and From - to a valid mail account, for example postmaster @ yourdomain.com (where "yourdomain" of course your domain :) )

    Windows Scheduling

Mmmm... I'm looking for this feature, though not currently using. As far as I see it is a good one, just need to write some scripts as I prefer people subscribing/unsubscribing using forms rather than sending e-mail. Don't remove it, I'll take a closer look this weekend :) lol

    Database log file is full

    Forum buggy?

So..., Ron,... are you hiding something? I know you posted 30 times and then deleted! For sure.. :D :D :D

    Windows Scheduling

Also I'm not sure why anyone need to use tasks to manage subscribtions. If you have someone to add/delete, then just go ahead and update your database instead of creating a task. In case of one-two subscribers, then what the difference? In case of many updates, well with tasks you'll just...

    Windows Scheduling

Well, Cron Tasks sure has a "parallel" in Windows - Scheduler :) I'm not sure though JodoHost allows using it. For example UBB Message board suggests to use it, here is their manual: http://www.ubbcentral.com/resources/Advanced_Cron.html Of course, this will work only when you have an access...

    WebShell and zip

Well, this is what I do too - downloading files and zipping/working with them locally, but if you had a feature to zip them on the server, it would reduce the time for downloading :) Not that I can't live without it, but it is nice :)

    WebShell and zip

Well as far as I found out, you can only zip one file at a time. To do this, just click on the file and on the right panel you'll see a button ".zip". Note this is not working for folders :)
