This is same as GD library that can be used to manipulate images , spaecially for creating quality thumbnails from 89 image formats , thumbnails created by GD library is of low quality and it supports only 3 formats , I cant convert tiff to jpg using GD library, thats why imagemagick is required...

Imagemagick is getting popular day by day and most of the host are provding it , why dont you provide it to you clients.Is server performance effected by it.

I want to use I imgemagick with php on your linux server, I know you have GD but am not sure whether you have imagemagick or not , if you dont have imagemagick can I install it myself as it comes free of cost?.
