Re: HELP!! how do I add .com and .net to a sub domain. Ok so now I am really confused. I tried your suggestion and I still got an error on both. Domain hosting.domain.com has been taken. Even more interesting. I can ping both of the .com subdomains but I can't reach any of the websites...

I did try this and recieved an error on both: Zone webdesign.domain.com has been taken. Zone hosting.domain.com has been taken. Any ideas why?

HELP!! how do I add .com and .net to a sub domain. I have been trying to figure this one out all weekend. I have a service domain using domain.net and configured an alias for domain.com. So far so good everything worked well. I added 2 sub domains hosting.domain.net and webdesign.domain.net...

Interesting I am getting name resolution now. I checked with www.DNSstuff.com and see everything working. Site is up and running now. I still can't access my mssql manager though. I guess I will be sending a support request unless someone can suggest if I have done something wrong. thanks.

I ping win6.mydomain.net but I cannot ping mssql2.mydomain.net, or the other 6 names I tried. I can ping everything by IP. I can create databases, but I cannot connect to them. I think it has something to do with the name resolution. Did I do something in my setup wrong?

IMHO, I think this type of info should be included in the signup confirmation email as well as the links provided on the web site. Thanks for your help.

I am trying to setup my DNS and I don't know what the IP addresses are for the jodohost name servers. My control panel view only shows ns.m****ere.com and ns2.mysphere.com are these correct? I thought they would jodohost name servers listed. Can anyone help me. Thanks.
