Everybody here just seems to complain about the problems, but nobody stops to think about the job that JodoHost is doing. My car doesn’t run 100% of the time, my doctor keeps me waiting, my AT&T telephones quit working, my Windows and Linux computers always have something wrong (of course the EULA says it’s not THEIR fault) and you know, when I worked for a huge data center something was always broken. Think about how statistics work, if you have a SAN with 1200 disk drives that have a two year mean rate of failure, you are probably going to lose two every day! If JodoHost goes offline, I do not worry about pages to report status or any other crap like that, and I do not try to call them. I have confidence in them, I give them a chance to fix their problem, and they to. My customers respect me and know that their problems will get solved, just like I respect JodoHost.
I think JodoHost does a great job of staying on top of the problems, and the smartest thing they do is that they actually tell us what happens! Do you know how many vendors try to shift the blame away or hide that a problem even existed? After all these years, AT&T finally admited responsibility for a network outage last week. Maybe they finally took a lead from JodoHost!
For all you nay-sayers, why don’t you go find another provider so mine can spend time fixing problems as they occur, instead of servicing your insecurities? You are wasting my time.
To the guys and gals at JodoHost, keep up the good work! You are the best!
AT&T was out for you as well? It was out in TX and FL for many hours at the same time about two weeks ago! I even got an email from them saying they are sorry and it has been resolved. My grandparents had just gotten their service and were not happy at all that it was out, I had sprint mobile broadband as a bakup so wasn’t worried. I did not realize the outage was THAT extensive however.
BTW jodopulse.com has additional linkage and updates now.
Me too. I had no problems reaching the forum. Was loading very fine during all the time of outage.
It’s from the forum that I came to know that my site was down
I was following the forums for updates and they were really updating in realtime. However, I still called there Support Tel and spoke to a lady who informed me that they are working on it.
After sometime, everything was back to normal.
That was a good effort.
But, I still feel that Jodohost.com should be hosted somewhere and not on your own Infrastructure.
Many small hosts also do that so it’s not a big deal.
