MySQL 5
Hi,
Any idea of when will MySQL 5 be available for Cluster 1?
Thanks.
Re: MySQL 5
I am working on those servers now ![]()
web11/mysql7/mail8
maybe i’m missing something here… i’m in cluster 1, and the admin control panel tells me HSphere 3.0 patch 6, but there are a few things that i don’t understand…
-
i have created new accounts, as well as checked on my old domains using phpinfo(), PHP version still says 4.4.7 and won’t run PHP5 code.
-
EasyApp, as i understood was not going to be available until certain other server upgrades, like MySQL version, is showing in the control panel
-
I thought the 3.0 Control Panel for resellers has the ability to lock the templates available to other user accounts (for example, to where they can only use Xpressia Lite), i can’t find this anywhere.
also the control panel has lately had intermittent times that it runs very slowly, whereas before it had finally started to run very well. I understand things are still settling from the upgrades but it seems it’s not rolling out exactly the way it was planned.
Please let me know if i’ve missed something on my end regarding the PHP5

PHP5 is available on EVERY windows server.
Linux it is not yet available and will only be on web11 when I get it in, we can not upgrade all servers to php5 as there is so much incompatible code, Hsphere 3.1 will over switchable php on unix like in windows.

correct, we are still a bit away from this.

really not sure what you are talking about i don’t mess with this much ever ![]()
As far as “slow” goes, it is pretty zippy during the day(and on safari it is REALLY FAST!) but at night with the cron jobs it can be quite sloq.
MySql 5 for Cluster1
Is MySQL 5 now available completely for Cluster1?
I created a new account last week and I just realized that the MySQL version installed on mysql6 was still 4.1.15.
I haven’t done much with the database so I can still start from scratch. How would I go about switching to MySQL 5?
Would I need to create a completely new account, and how do I ensure that I get a MySQL 5 installation on that account?
Thanks
Re: MySql 5 for Cluster1
mysql6 is still running MySQL version 4.0.27
To get MySQL version 5, please create a new account now, so you can get mysql7.
Thanks. I just created a new account and it assigned me the mysql7 host. However, I keep timing out when I attempt to access it through phpMyAdmin from the Control Panel.
JCat,
please open a ticket with your database details so that we can check it.
Thanks, opened a ticket. But the page ( http://mysql7.m****here.biz/phpMyAdmin/index.php ) does not even load, so I’m unable to enter my info. Are others able to access the page?
I don’t see your ticket yet, but can you please try to access phpmyadmin now.
Thanks, the page loads fine now and was able to log in.
VERY VERY UPSET. now the FTP SUB account is not working.
6 months in a row the ftp account has stopped working.
So angry now that Jodohost can not resolve this issue once and forall
