Cluster2 Migrations - Updates

Due to mail3 issue, and some out of our control weather changing that have allowed some extra time over the weekend, we will be moving SQL DB changes to SATURDAY.

This will allow more time for you to give clients notice, and more time for us to focus on ensuring a good copy and reliable move of the SQL DBs (This is mostly MS SQL being spoken about)

We will update the migration tool times, and send an email alert about it as well.

Control panel has been stopped for IP migration of win1,web2,web3 & mysql1.

MAIL3 is still restoring at this time but we must proceed to finalize migrations we have prepped and worked with.

Win1, Web2, Web3 and MySQL1 are doing the final part of the IP Migration now.

The control panel is being stopped for this process.

FTP is being stopped on cl2web2 and cl2web3 for this process.

Win1 is fully migrated now and IP redirection in place for old IPs.

An issue with some dedicated IPs on win1 not replying is resolved now.

Web3 had some problems in migration scripts and is being checked at the highest priority now that mail3 is up.

We are re-processing the IP migration for web3, so stopping CP again now.

web3 ip migration part is done. Data migration of it is pending. mail3 has been migrated as well, due to today’s hardware failure. web2 is being IP migrated now.

web2 IP migration is done. Control panel is available now.

We will not be doing any moves tonight, we are pausing the process and analyzing all that has happened and what can be done to speed the IP migrator process to prevent many of the issues and CP downtime experienced in first set of moves.

We have moved Win2/4 and CF2 back to control of the servers in Miami since we have decided on a new route, we will be working to move in a different manner, We will elaborate further in the coming days.
