Jodohost refuses to solve problem

My client’s site is offline for three hours due to database timeout and jodohost doenst reload pool of their poor server, instead they send me logs and deny to put site back in the air.

Ill swear ill move my sites from jodohost cause thats what they demanding, but i need them working until i move them please put it back on the air

Re: Jodohost refuses to solve problem

?! We have restarted IIS twice for you this is more than a pool reset.
The site won’t come up, and if i forcefully disconnect the user on the sql server it even reflects as such in the error on the website.

We are not preventing your site form being up in ANY WAY, we are working with you now for hours to help you get it running, there is nothing more we can do at this time, until we have found what the cause is, and the cause IS NOT MSSQL7 ‘being overloaded’ it is not at all overloaded.

I really can’t deal with this anymore, we have restarted IIS.

You think we are intentionally keeping this down? Give me a break.
If there was a server side issue I’d have this fixed LONG ago and be done with the false accusations and misunderstandings.

I am not going to let anger here get the best of me…(talking to self now…to calm down)

You dont understand, this sytem is the same for more than a year! I saw logs and there is just commands from the system and same database recovery, that is from your side, cause I dont have not even permission to do so.

Our systems are the same for more than a year as well. you are on win10 and MSSQL7 which are very ‘mature’ and stable systems, they don’t have new clients in years now.

We have tried many things, shrinking your DB etc(you saw this there), the site is making regular connections to the DB as well. I am continuing to work on this, but continuing to throw false accusations around is really getting to me.

I have also created a test asp.net page using your DB with a different connection string, and it is working perfectly fine pulling from your Db instantly.

well, never happened before that you just cannot make a database respond, it pretty weird. So just there is no way that I can keep this database on jodohost. Thats what you telling me? I just wont work?

Maybe try a better connection string, I am using your DB in my sample without problems, feel free to change the query in the sample as well.

Please, by now I just want to be able to solve the problem myself, so please just give me the database backup I asked so I can test it the problem will occur in other hosts too.

I didnt know ms sql server had such bugs as being not possible to clear memory or so, probably microsoft bug, one more.

Thank you for your attention and Im sorry for my exaltation, but this is very important to me.

Jodohost has been great to me for the last years, mainly the support has been great and quick, but I really have to solve this problem to this client of mine. So I have sign up a “backup” server to put the sites when they fail, and make tests, so I really just want to test this database now…thank you

Backup has been provided.

ok, thank you and Im sorry about me not being very polite. You can erase this thread if you want. Its very nasty
