anyone using Drupal on Windows??

I set it up on my domain and when it tries to send the email it won't work. The support sites say to make the change in php.ini but from reading some other posts here that the php.ini file does have the smtp info in it....so I am gathering that I cannot run drupal on Jodohost's servers?

The official website suggests that it works on windows and with IIS so I am not sure what I would need to do as I followed the installation instructions carefully and there are no options for email in the config file.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Just make a custom php.ini and put it in the domain root.

Cool, I didn't realize we could do this.

....off searching on what I need to do.

Thanks a bunch :)

Drupal is not very good IMO, DotNetNuke is more flexible and better.
Also, this is a very old thread :)

Oh, you're right. I was 8/2 but didn't notice the year.

I'm on Linux hosting so DNN won't work. Got any other opinions of portal/cms packages that you like or don't like for Linux?

Mambo is good, but keep it updated, in fact, keep ANY software updated for security.
