AWStats Conf File

I have am curious about the AWStats setup. Do we have access to edit out conf files for the sites we enable AWstats at?

I notice that when we enable AWStats in the CP, it creates our conf file in a "Skeleton" directory.

I need to save my edited conf files because I now have an external site, AlertSite, monitoring my website. Every 5 minutes it is checking my site from 3 seperate locations. This is going to show too many hits when AWStats runs tonight.

Thoughts? I have the new edited conf files in my ...mydomain.com/AWstats/cgi-bin dir. But these are not used

Hi there,

I know this post is more than a year old but I would also like to have my stats filtered with awstats.conf. Is there anyway I can do that? Where shoud I place the file for it to be used by AWStats?

Aibarra.net, Just enable Awstats for your domain. If you need any modification, please request tech support. If they find it fine, it will done to your domain's Awstats config.

thdrought, Yes it counts to the http traffic, thus will be part of stats.
