I got a spam this morning, addressed to a long list comprising of *@mydomain.com. (not for the first time, but it's the first time this has occurred to me)
i.e. it was sent to [email protected],[email protected],[email protected],[email protected], etc, etc
Not all at once, but split into batches of 100 or so addresses at a time, so the full list was probably 10s of 1000s of names long, all sent to one domain. So maybe 50-100,000.
A partner got the same spam later on sent to [email protected].
There's no catch-all address for this domain, but if there had been, would it have received all 50,000 or so spams?
