Change in Control Panel ports

Dated: February 24, 2004

On Saturday, February 26 at 3AM EST, we plan to change the control panel's HTTP port from 8080 to 80 and HTTPS port from 8443 to 443.

Our control panel would hence only be accessible from the following URLs instead of the old ones from Saturday 3AM EST:

Shared Customers:
http://cp.jodoshared.com (Standard)
https://cp.jodoshared.com (Secure)

Resellers:
http://cp.m****here.biz (Standard)
https://cp.m****here.biz (Secure)

The change would also apply to the end-user control panels of our resellers. Your control panels would no longer be available on 8443 and 8080 and would be available on 443 and 80 instead. Hence, your end-user control panel would be accessible in the following format from Saturday, 3AM EST

http://cp.yourdomain.com (Standard)
https://cp.yourdomain.com (Secured - if you have enabled CP SSL)

No control panel would be available on these URLS from Saturday:

http://cp.yourdomain.com:8080
http://cp.yourdomain.com:8443

We are giving this advanced notification so resellers can change their signup links when the time arrives and also inform their customers. Resellers would have to make no changes from their control panel. The change is being done as a number of our customers have reported difficulty in accessing the control panel when behind a corporate firewall

If you have any questions regarding this move, we encourage you to clarify them on our Support Forums or by opening a Support Ticket
