On October 12 at 00:30:00 CDT 2013, we will be finalizing the Windows 2003 to 2008 R2 move for Win6 server on Cluster1. With the end of life nearing on windows 2003 there are an increasing amount of attacks and problems coming on 2003 based servers, we are taking this time to move 2003 based servers to 2008 for existing clients. The process has been time consuming for this first move as many Parallels tools were not working 100%, but now we have made scripts to address most of those issues. The remaining issues are more along the lines of Class ASP based sites having parent paths or other features needing to be enabled.
Also we shall be moving all the 2003 servers one by one to 2008 for which we shall post for them independently
Thanks,

This is not yet ready as the file sync is not complete, it is going to have to be delayed at least until Saturday night/Sunday morning time frame.

We apologize for the delays in moving Win6, there were outside issues (not related to win6) that prevented a proper focus on the move of the Win6 server that would have made a lack of focus. We will proceed with this migration starting at 11PM Central Daylight Time Friday the 18th of October. The file sync is already complete and will be updating 2 times a day between now and then so that it is all in sync and ready.

Move is going well, permissions are being applied to the domains and then we will make the IP swap and go live, probably about 2.5 hours from now.

DONE. As per our emails to users with coldFusion pages we will now need to move you across to a coldfusion server.

We have found that some subfolders of domains did not apply permissions fully, and working to resolve now.

We are working to reset with a new process, the other set the first and second levels but seem to give up on deeper subfolders which many, or most have, this is causing some access denied errors which we are resolving preactively but if you notice before we get done please send a ticket.
