Compensation for down time

Hi,
If a site was down due to a technical problem in the server, can there be any compensation regarding this?
or it is totally out of the policy.

If I am a reseller and having about 30 user accounts.
Only one account of them faced a problem and was down for about 12 continuos hours before it is back again. It was down because a mistake done by one of your technical support who was handling the ticket.

How can I calculate this?(
