Q. where do i see dspam? or where is the web-interface for me to manage it?
Ans. At the moment, there is no web-interface or management available for this anti-spam system(and dspam).

Q. How will it work?

Ans. Mail delivery will be as follows:
1. External mailserver will lookup for your MX record (that points to our new anti-spam system) and deliver mail.
2. The anti-spam server will accept mails for your domain.
3. Mail will now be passed through dspam for statistical content analysis.
5. Based on status of this scan below will happen:
(a) If the mail contains virus it will be deleted.
(b) If the mail is spam, dspam will tag it as spam.
(c) If the mail is good, dspam will tag it as innocent.
(d) Mail will now be queued for delivery.
6. Using our intelligent domain maps the destination mailserver(only within our cluster) will be determined and mail will be delivered to it. Intelligent because it will always map to correct mailserver, even when changed due to some client action.
7. Our mailserver will receive the mail and again do a content analysis against it using the local anti-spam system(spamassassin). Spam-assasin is now preconfigured to give a very high value (Score 20.0) for dspam marked spam mails.
This provides you complete control on what you want to do of this spam from your control panel.

[Note- Step-7 is going to change in future. Stay tuned for updates in announcement section.]

Q. Can i train dspam?
Ans. No.
Reason - Due to possible pollution to the signature database that can drastically reduce effectiveness of the system, we dont plan to offer training to the end-users.

Q. OK. Who will train dspam for new spam?
Ans. Our admins will be training the spam system to maintain accuracy and reduce noise.

Q. I'm scared of false positives. what do i do?
Ans. If you wish store spam, change your anti-spam preferences.
You need to set "Spam processing:" to "Mark as spam" or "Move To".
If using move-to option and a local mailbox, ensure you allocate a big quota or regularly cleanup this mailbox.
Otherwise the mails will be bounced due to over-quota.

Q. Where do i report these false-positives?
Ans. Currently we are not accepting any reports.

Q. Where do i report the spam that dspam has missed?
Ans. Currently we are not accepting any reports.

Q. How do i whitelist domains/user with dspam?
Ans. dspam doesnt provide explicit whitelisting. Instead automated whitelisting is part of its Bayesian aglorithm.
For trials, we are still using existing anti-spam system to decide the fate of the message, so your whitelisting in control panel will remain effective.

Q. What is future roadmap of this anti-spam project?
Ans. As of now, two more features may be made available:
(a) External Quarantine - will save your disk space and bandwidth.
(b) Web-based interface to manage this quarantine and some nice analysis graphs.

How do I get started?
Ans. Please follow steps listed in the announcement:
http://support.jodohost.com/showthread.php?t=9145
If you are still unsure of the process, you may create a support ticket with list of domains and we will do the DNS record changes for you.

Q. I have more questions :)
Ans. Please post them on this thread:
