We have now fully setup our new server cluster which is based on Windows 2003 servers. With this new server cluster, our customers will benefit with several new features:

1) Better WebMail
2) Windows 2003 hosting (for Windows customers)
3) Free database and website restores from backup
4) FTP-Sub accounts (Windows)
5) Cross-Platform CFMX DSN support
6) and much more...

More details about new features will be emailed to our customers within a week when they are officially included in our packages.

During the next 72 hours, we will be shifting customers in the priority list to the new servers. This list comprises of all customers that requested their account to be shifted first. If you would like to be added to this list as well, please email [email protected] immediately with your account username

After we complete shifting accounts from the priority list, we will shift the remaining customers in a random order. This may take anywhere between 4 to 6 weeks. When your account has been shifted to the new servers, we will email you the

An important side-effect of this shift will be that billing dates for customers will be reset. If your current billing date is for example on the 23rd of each month and your account is transfered to the new servers on the 15th, your new billing date would be on the 15th with your next payment due on the 15th of the next month (instead of the 23rd of the current month). Therefore, all customers will benefit by getting anywhere between 1 to 30 days of free hosting. If you however have a billing term of more than 1 month i.e. 3 months, 6 months or 1 year, your billing term will be converted to monthly. If for example you have used 3 months out of your 1 year package, the remaining 9 unused months would become your balance (9 * monthly package fee). This balance would be used by the system to pay off your monthly invoices (since you'd be on a monthly billing term from then on) and thus your next payment wouldn't be due till the 9 months are up. If you have any concern about these billing changes, feel free to email [email protected] and we will address them

We at JodoHost are committed to providing the very latest technology and software to our customers. We hope that all our customers will see through the minor inconvenience this shift may cause and look at the new features and benefits

In the past 24 hours, our priority list has grown 3 times. The priority list was only for customers who needed to immediately switch to the new servers so they could add domains or create cross-platform CFMX DSNs.

The result of this enlarged priority list is that it may take anywhere between 7 to 14 days for us to complete it. If a customer wishes to transfer his account to the new servers himself, he or she is free to do so. The new control panel is available at:

http://cp.jodoshared.com:8080/psoft/servlet/psoft.hsphere.CP

Click on "Singup for a New Account" and then select your package. Register an account selecting your billing term as 1 Month (even if you are a yearly paying customer) and Paymode (2Checkout.com, PayPal or Check) the same as your current account is registered with. Do NOT select Trial mode. Ignore the payment instructions. After signing up, you MUST email [email protected] (very important!) with your old account username and new account username.

Your account would be put in activation queue and it would be activated in under 8 hours. Once your account is activated, you can begin transfering your files, creating domains, creating email addresses, etc. If you'd like us to transfer your MSSQL, PGSQL or MySQL database, please first create them in the new CP. Then open a ticket (at the new control panel) with the database server address and database name of your old database and the database server address and database name of your new database. Database transfers are however subject to our queue and it thus may take a few days before we can complete the request

We will transfer your balance from your old account to the new account when we activate it. Upon activation of your new account, you won't have to pay any invoices generated by your old account. Only invoices generated by the new account must be paid. Once you have transfered your account completely to the new servers and updated your domain's name servers, please open a ticket at your new control panel requesting your old account to be closed. If you do not complete this step within 30 days of opening your new account, you will be billed for your old account as well.

All customers are encouraged to transfer their accounts on their own if they want to benefit from the new features immediately. If you however choose not to, we will eventually do so ourselves within the next 6 weeks. If you have any about shifting your account yourself, feel free to email [email protected]
