Keeping the redirect working on a newly transferred domain

I've just recieved confirmation that one of my domains has successfully transferred to JodoHost. I never had a website using this domain, but the previous registrar had it pointing to second domain name, which is at JodoHost. I checked and the domain still points to the right place. Not sure why it's still working, unless it's a propagation issue, but how do I continue to keep the domain redirected to where it is now.
