Mail4 migration to new hardware on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 5:30 AM EDT

Following our constant efforts to provide better quality service, we have planned move mail services on the server mail4 to a brand new server.

Hardware configuration of the new server:
Intel Quad Core @ 2.40GHz
4GB DDRII RAM
SATA-II raid10 Array, available capacity - 520GB

Operating system: CentOS 5

The switch to the new mail-server will be happen on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 5:30 AM EDT.
Possible downtime is 10 minute or less and no mail will be lost during the process.

This migration could not be started as final rsync is still in progress. We are expecting this migration to be started with 1 hour delay.

Rsync is taking much longer than we expected. This migration will be performed tomorrow and exact time will be posted shortly.

All services are working off new server. No issue has been noticed/reported so far.
