Dated: April 24, 2004

We have added a new VPS server - VPS2 to our server cluster. All new VPS signups will now be going to this server

Configuration:
Dual Xeon 2.4GHZ
4GB DDRAM
3x73GB SCSI RAID5 (hot-swap) hard disks
Dual Gigabit Network cards

We have initially put 4GB of RAM on this server but will expand it upto 12GB of RAM as it reaches capacity

Additionally, this new VPS server runs VPS 1.2 which is much more stable than the our first VPS server. We infact plan to take the old VPS server offline due to constant issues with stability on it and inefficient memory management.

This server - VPS2 has been facing a number of kernel issues and therefore we have deployed VPS3 to replace it. VPS3 is currently rock-solid stable and ready for major VPS account deployments. We have tested this server extensively and can say with confidence that this server is absolutely stable and faces no more issues. Hosting VPS accounts with us is now secure and stable. This server runs the latest stable release of VPS from PSOFT. Resellers are requested to add the VPS server alias from E.Manager > Server Aliases

For Resellers
We have reduced the prices of additional VPS RAM from $0.25/month to $0.10/month and have increased the process allocation substantially on each reseller plan. Each reseller plan now also comes with an additional 64MB of VPS RAM. Additional Disk space prices have be reduced to $0.05/MB per month and IP prices to $0.50/IP per month. Extra monthly transfer has been reduced to $2.00/GB per month. We hope these measures will encourage reseller to sell and promote VPS hosting more keenly. Updated reseller packages can be viewed at http://www.jodohost.com/reseller.asp

For JodoHost VPS customers
We have increase the number of processes available per VPS account. Please check out the new allocations from http://www.jodohost.com/vps.asp
