Oracle Discontinued

As of last month, we have discontinued providing oracle servers to new customers. We also encourage existing customers to no longer sell oracle database services, as it may be difficult for us to service new oracle accounts.

Our experiment with Oracle services was more or less a failure. We didn't receive the sort of demand we hoped to, and we experienced a number of issues with our shared implementation that resulted in poor service to oracle customers. For this reason, we've decided to discontinue providing it. At JodoHost, it is our policy to provide/support those services that we can do so with both reliability and good performance. We were not able to achieve that in our shared model. Oracle is an enterprise service, and our attempts to make it a low-cost service for shared customers didn't meet with success.

We do apologise for this withdrawal. Setting up oracle for us was an expensive venture, and we did lose money in this. However we at JodoHost will continue to add new services to expand our offerings to both shared customers and resellers
