i have a potential new customer, wants to know whether he gets a RDNS on a hosting package that he’ll get thru me.
does he?
does this refer to www DNS, or just mail DNS?

I really can’t say what he is looking for.
RDNS is not supported in HSphere and we only set this up manually for customers if they absolutely require it
well, its quite obvious why he wants it - spam lists block server that dont have RDNS set uo for the mail servers. This is why he is concerned, and looking to move from his current host.
I have seen this myself with the last host i was with too.
our mail server already has RDNS set up
