Snow in west central Texas, day before Easter!

It is supposed to be snowing(in fact its snowing like a blizzard right now) all day today and tomorrow in Texas!
WOW!
My family called me to report this and I was amazed. They have been having an incredible spring with a full garden already growing, then all of a sudden a snow storm (which is very rare once every 2-3 years thing, but has happened 3 times this year) in APRIL!
 
Snowing here in Western New York State as well (although not all that uncommon for here this time of year)

I don't hear quite as many claims right now though of Global Warming! :D
 
My peach tree had already bloomed and the trees were already mostly greened up. Now I have winter hardy shrubs that have been really damaged as apparently the new growth can't take the cold and trees wilting after it got down in the mid teens for a hard freeze a few nights in a row. We did get the snow but it was at the first of the cold spell so it melted fast.

Gotta love this global warming eh!!!!
