storefront.net issue

Running a storefront.net, version 6.8.0.3, ecommerce store. Works great except I am getting a billion errors when I try to run the compilesite.aspx command.

Runing another store on same server, compile site works great.

I made some code changes and really need the site to compile. Help help help. Anybody have any ideas?

chck the file versions on the upload, i've seen it happen that a single file in the /bin or other required fle gets uploaded partially and cause this.`

All files are fine - it was compiling earlier and i have not changed anything. Storefront says it is something in configuration or permissions somewhere, but I don't know where else to look.
